#1 SUPERCAR & SPORTS CAR CLUB IN NZ.

Our private club enables members to experience a variety of car brands and has formed a friendly, safe community of like-minded people.

Welcome to SUPERCARS OF NZ.

Supercars and Sportscars of NZ (“SoNZ”) Drivers Club is exclusively for car owners who love driving with fellow enthusiasts at social & learning events.  Whether it’s the thrill of experiencing NZ motorsport circuits, or flowing open roads, we create events with variety that real drivers seek. Our members are part of a friendly, supportive club of like-minded,  successful & positive people. Life-long friendships and business relationships, flourish within our club’s network.

INSTRUCTOR SUPPORTED DRIVING.

Our instructors help improve driving skills through guidance and feedback on technique. Members learn car dynamics, correct lines through a corner, how to brake and accelerate effectively and how to handle a car when pushed towards limits. This is especially valuable for newer drivers, learning your new car in a safe environment that helps you have increased confidence and control, or if you’re looking to improve higher levels of performance on a circuit.

Motorway driving or windy roads? Post up some driving vids ☺️

Today’s memory shot. Northwest of Matakana I spied this place for a quick photo spot.

Standing in the middle of the road, I quickly grabbed the shot and ran to safety 🤭

Great pic, love the setting! 🌟

992.2 GT3. I thought I’d miss the analogue tachometer but NO! I love twisting a knob and choosing a layout that suits the experience.

Another 300km added today. Only about 1,000 to go then I’ll start sharing some sound!

A slow start commencing the GT3 run-in. A last minute decision to do a short trip out to Kaiaua & across to Mercer then home.

Once I’d got past swearing about NZ roadworks and loose chip that the workers never sweep away these days, i found relief. After Kawakawa Bay that crap was behind me and flowing roads ahead.

This car is crazy sticky around corners & even playing around in the low 3,000rpm range was delightful. I can see this car is going to be as awesome as the reviewers have all said it is!

I have a black 992.1 GT3. We should catch up sometime and take a photo of them together.

Yeah...I am pretty pleased the GT3RS has full PPF. The rural roads of south/east Auckland make it a necessity...and the lack of sound deadening lets you know just how much loose chip is around. 🤐

Hopefully PPF, our roads are shockers for loose chip and pot holes. I so get your angst! Recently drove Berlin to Innsbruck and Salzburg- not one audible/ visual stone or pothole!

The Porsche GT3 992.2 matrix headlights are very cool.

Think I’m in need of a night drive this weekend to see how good they are on back country roads 😊

I always wonder what it is that attracts car lovers, to watches.

To me, it’s the similarities between the two - the fact that “man” has created the mechanical works of art that offer utilitarian function, coupled with superb design. They are both forms of kinetic art in their own right and we all know that if you look at artwork, we all see different things and if a piece excites you every time you look at it, then that connection makes you appreciate or desire it.

The special thing about this watch is that its available to GT2RS owners only. You need to prove car ownership and supply vin to order one.

Mine has the watch makers certificate also signed by Porsche Le Mans winner Earl Bamber to go with the car i purchased from him. That makes the watch even more special and explains why it’s a watch I have never worn. While i find that slightly frustrating, as I prefer to use things than collect, I still love admiring and appreciating the workmanship behind it.

Yes I certainly agree with you on that Neil, it's my type of watch that I'd treasure.

I’ve now had a chance to get a proper look at the new car. My favourite angle is looking at the rear of the 992.2 GT3.

It’s stylish, yet aggressive at the same time.

It’s incredible how wide this gen 2 car is - measuring over 2m!

The wing’s angled end plates look super cool and the new light bar & indicators wrap wider around the side. The diffuser is far more aggressive and side air vents add to the aesthetic in a good way.

Typical Porsche - small tweaks between the generations that add a lot once you see them.
